Interesting idea, slightly shaky and ponderous execution.
The main problem I had was that the ‘mind rape’ sequences weren’t frequent enough, or disturbing enough. While they were unpleasant, they didn’t quite convey the full horror of what was supposed to be happening.
I think this might have been an important episode for me: throughout my psychology studies I did quite a bit of work and research on falsified memories, something that started soon after I would have seen this episode for the first time around. I wonder if it had an impact, but I honestly don’t remember seeing it before.[^1]
Oh, and an aside: when you have committed the perfect crime and framed your father, try not to ruin it all by going back to your initial victim.
