Doing a batch catch-up on Short Treks Season 2 today. Any questions?
I just didn’t like this one. It’s nice to get some more time with Number One and Spock, and there’s potential in the ‘trapped in an elevator’ framing. But it doesn’t quite get enough time to grow, so the various moments feel forced and frankly not that interesting. It doesn’t help that I hate the exteriors of the elevators, which came up a lot in this.
