I had high expectations for this, the second of the episodes with the big ‘woah’ moments. And it lived up to it. There’s a great mix of consequential action and also advancement of the arc.
The Morden part of the episode is still the star. Ed Wasser puts in an incredible performance that is polite, considerate, and with a menace that is hard to exactly pin down. Each of the ‘what do you want’ scenes sets the groundwork for the future in a different way.
One thing that bumped me a little was the implications of actually being able to see the future with accuracy. Surely there would be enough evidence of this to cause major scientific research and interest.
But then the shadow ship appears, completely up ends your expectations, and Londo starts his long path to damnation.
