Quark battles a rival bar, while O’Brien has a racketball rivalry with Bashir
(Gee, I wonder what the episode title could possibly mean…)
Fluff, but entertaining and reasonably well done fluff. It would have been nice to do a bit more with the idea of a probability altering machine, but that would have been hard to fit in. The O’Brien/Bashir parts were probably the best bit, the start of one of the best arcs in DS9.
I did have a real problem believing that the con man didn’t spot the other con artist, but maybe I’ve just been watching too much *Leverage*.
